This is one of our favorite sushi places in Vancouver! Very friendly workers and great service. I see a lot of people complaining about their selection, but they have a menu with variety of options you can order from!
* Sushi is fresh, with several choices of nigiri sushi. * Food is delivered via conveyor belt, so you can pick and pay for only what you want. * Establishment is clean. * Service is good (refilling water, etc.).
The service was really nice. If you never been to a conveyor belt sushi then you might want to read up on it. The staff doesn't speak good enough english to explain this to you. The dishes sliding by also doesn't explain what they are so its a bit of a guessing game. Ive been to these places before so I had a good time. The lower rating was because the sushi wasn't that good. I think I would've been better off ordering on my own or off the hot menu.
WOW .. what a find. Even though we live a bit too far from this place, we will absolutely continue to go here for their incredibly fresh offerings, great prices, amazing selections not to mention awesome awesome service. We stopped here to pick up a to-go order right as they opened yesterday, when we got home I was very surprised to find that my 18 piece sashimi deluxe was not only beautifully laid out in a container, it was tripped wrapped for freshness, I couldn't figure out why it was a bit heavy only to find out they had a layer of ice under my sashimi to keep it as fresh & delicious as possible. They asked if we wanted any sauce, we said we would try theirs .. we got a total of 5 small sauce containers to check out. As much as I would love to keep this place a secret, it would not be fair to them nor to this community. They just opened a few months ago and it is now our ABSOLUTE favorite place to go.
Newly opened conveyor belt sushi place in the Salmon Creek area of Vancouver. The raw fish was really fresh; though the rolls had a lot more rice than expected and this makes you feel full faster than being able to enjoy more varieties. Also, if there is an item on the menu that isn't circulating on the belt, you can request it from the host staff and they will bring it to your table. One of the menu items I ordered was the "Colorful Sushi" roll and it was really tasty. That roll is made with Tuna, Yellow tail, Salmon, Snapper, White Tuna, according to their menu. I hope this place makes it and stays around because Vancouver simply does not have enough good sushi places.
